Is an Italian painter from Turin.
In 1875, he abandoned his technical studies to join the Doyen lithographic factory.
He then enrolled at the Accademia Albertina under Pier Celestino Gilardi, but was forced to abandon his university studies for lack of funds.

He devoted himself to genre painting, loving subjects characterized by close observation of nature.
In 1879, he presented his first impressions at the Società Promotrice di Belle Arti in Turin, where he remained until 1893. Recognized and appreciated by art critics, he exhibited in Turin, Genoa, Venice and London, as well as in Milan and Venice. He is now a recognized and collected painter in French and Anglo-Saxon circles.
Our work demonstrates the artist's high technical level. The brushstroke is decisive, and the scene has an intense luminosity reminiscent of the French Post-Impressionists.
