Ary BITTER was born in Marseille on May 29, 1883.
A sculptor of bronze statuettes, often with mythological subjects, he also loved nudes and animal representations.
His works appeared in the Salon des Artistes Français between 1910 and 1939.
He received an honourable mention in 1910, a bronze medal in 1913, a silver medal in 1921, a medal in 1924. And a gold medal at the 1937 International Exhibition.
His style is both fine and rough.
