Little is known about Vladimir Osipovic Perelman or Perelmagne. Mentioned in the Benedictory, we read
"Pupil of Injalbert (great sculptor and teacher). He appears at the Paris exhibitions and wins a silver medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition."
We know that he studied in France at the Beaux-Arts, that he made a career there and that his talent was recognised.
Perelman liked romantic and delicate subjects. One of his statues "Seated woman holding a child" is in the Musée du Petit-Palais in Paris
