From the Louis XV period, with marquetry in perfect condition, numerous storage spaces, even secret, this scriban is attributed to Nicolas Couleru, one of the most gifted cabinet makers of his generation.

Two-piece scriban chest of drawers, with inlaid floral sprays in a finely-crafted vase, on all sides and above.
The bookcase opens with two leaves, revealing a stepped interior of six drawers on three levels, separated by two shelves.
Abraham Nicolas Couleru (1716-1812) is the cabinetmaker of the Duke of Wutemberg, from a great line of craftsmen. In 1739, he was trained in Paris in marquetry work, which became the characteristic of his furniture.
