Auguste Emile Flick
Born in Metz in 1845, he is renowned for his seascapes, genre scenes, animated landscapes and still lifes, and is also a watercolorist.
His masters included Isidore Pils, Theodore Devilly and Laurent Charles Maréchal.
He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1870 to 1881.
He won a bronze medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition.
