Born in Piacenza, Italy,
he was the fourth child in a family of twelve.
At the age of 13, he left to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, then Turin.
At the age of 19, he won a competition in Belgium and settled there.
Three years later, he moved to Paris and settled in Montmartre.
He met the great artists of his time, such as Bonnard...
One day, he painted in Deauville by the sea,
Baron Robert de Rothschild invited him to his home to paint a portrait of his daughter.
He thus became the official portraitist
high society, such as Maryse Bastié, France's first female aviator.

He took refuge in Norway during the Second World War,
where, once again, his talent led him to paint the elite.
Then came the United States. From New York, which fascinated him,
San Francisco, Los Angeles...
He continued to exhibit in Paris at Durand-Ruel and in Brussels.
He exhibited in all the major salons of his time and around the world.

Harlequin is one of the central figures in Corbellini's work.
Alone or accompanied, sad or cheerful, he always brings him to life with a lively, colorful and modern touch.
Corbellini loves to depict childhood: ingenuous, smiling girls and more shy boys.

This is one of the artist's most astonishing compositions.
Structured as two paintings that can be exhibited separately without the viewer knowing (each canvas is signed), certain motifs, such as the fruit basket and the window
