LEFORT DES YLOUSES Henri 1846-1912
Is a French artist at once, painter, engraver, ceramist and sculptor.
He began his studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1865 and his master was Alexandre Cabanel.
He exhibited for the first time at the Paris Salon in 1869.
In 1873 he was one of the artists of the Salon des refusés.
In 1877, he received a silver medal for his work as a ceramist at the Universal Exhibition.
