William Laparra had a long career, and some 100 of his works were acquired by national museums, including the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay.

LAPARRA's academic career was a real success. He was awarded the first Second Grand Prix de Rome in 1894.
Four years later, in 1898, he was 25. This did not prevent him from continuing to exhibit at the Salon and accumulate awards.
