Marko Stupar 1936- 2021

Marko Stupar, born in Bosnia in 1936, grew up in a context marked by war and precarious living conditions.

Later, he attended evening classes at the Belgrade School of Fine Arts, where he developed a passion for Impressionist masters such as Monet, Renoir and Pissarro.

At 28, he chose to settle in Paris, where he made a name for himself.
He has received numerous awards, including the Grand Prix of the Taylor Foundation in 2006, and his work has been exhibited in museums in Bosnia, France and the United States.
