The scene is immersed in a misty, grayish atmosphere, enhanced by the colors that enliven it. Neymarck highlights the place of the bourgeois, liberated Parisian woman at the end of the 19th century, who sets the latest fashions and has a good time in the places of modernity: cafés-concerts, opera houses, theaters, ballrooms and stores.
