Seduced by the colors and atmosphere of the Mediterranean cities, his paintings are luminous and vaporous, and his touch is fine, lively and delicate, similar to that of Felix Ziem.
The painter knows how to render this exquisite harmony, from which nature never departs. M. Rosier observes, analyses "in order to apply in his works all the beauties and the truth of the nature which surrounds him.
