He exhibited in the Salons and galleries of his day, such as the Galerie Georges Petit.
He was awarded a silver medal and made Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 1922.

In 1935, he was elected to the Académie des Beaux-Arts in the engraving section.

As well as being a renowned engraver and sculptor, Le Riche was also a painter and traveler.
Between 1909 and 1915, he traveled to China, Japan and North Africa.

From this adventure, he brought back many bright, colorful canvases from countries still little known to most Westerners.
His canvases are draped in luminous yellows and azure blues, and the motif is freed from academic rules.

Henri Le Riche creates dreamlike worlds that take us on a journey.
