BRUGAIROLLES Victor (1869-1936)

Painter of figures, landscapes, animated landscapes, pastellist.

He was a pupil of Fernand Cormon. In Paris, from 1900 to 1936, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, winning a second-class medal in 1912. He also exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1907.

He often painted Dutch landscapes around the port of Dordrecht, Brittany's landscapes and sailors in Loguivy or Erquy, and sometimes the banks of the Seine in Paris.
