When she arrived in the Parisian art world, she changed her name to Lucienne de Meiffren.

Close to the indefatigable painter-traveller Georges Dargouge (1897-1990), she accompanied him on his travels around the world, including Indochina.
In 1969, her works were exhibited at the Salons des Indépendants.

She loves the seaside towns of Dinard and Biarritz, which she punctuates with light and vibrant watercolours. Her oil paintings are also lively and colourful.
