Frances F PALMER

Active in Brooklyn around 1860, painter and lithographer.

Born as Frances Flora Bond, she arrived in the United States with her husband from England in the 1840s.
It was she who, through her work as an artist, made a living for the family as an employee of the firm of Currier and Ives.

Our work is dated 1853.

Look at the fineness of the leaves of the trees, admire the shadows and lights and the expressions of each character... A small masterpiece !
