Louis Giraud is a French artist trained at the Beaux-Arts in Paris,
During his career, he worked in various media: painting, ceramics and frescoes.
His style, marked by a strong religious sensibility and an innovative approach to form, is part of a personal aesthetic research, sometimes close to cubism.

After graduating from the Beaux-Arts in Paris, Giraud created a number of frescoes and paintings for public and religious buildings, including the church in Bone, Algeria, the church in Allos, the church in Cogolin and the prefecture in Ardèche.
In the 1950s, Giraud moved to Vallauris, the capital of ceramics, where he set up his own workshop. There, he created sculptural ceramic pieces such as lamps, vases and decorative objects.
