Member of the Sociétaire des Artistes Français since 1883.

In the course of his career he abandoned the historical genre to devote himself to landscapes, specializing in paintings of picturesque sites in the south of France.
His paintings are luminous. He often likes to use wide perspectives, allowing the viewer to admire the landscape like a photograph.
