FEYERABEND Johan Rudolff called Paul LELONG (1779-1814)

Painter of portraits of flowers, watercolorist.

Son of Franz Feyerabend, he practiced the same profession as his father and painted in gouache and watercolor, leaving notably a landscape with a figure, preserved in the Art Association of Basel.

A Demolition of the Dance of the Dead in Basel, drawn after nature, was engraved after him.

He stayed in France for some time where he took the pseudonym of Paul LELONG and left a large production of gouache still lifes of great delicacy.
