Pierre Falconet was born in 1683. He soon owned a workshop in the rue de Cléry, where all the great cabinetmakers were located.
He was succeeded by his son Louis, who obtained his master's degree on 9 September 1743 and died around 1775.
His widow kept the house until 1782.

Their workshop produced some remarkable works.
