Drawings on coasters

Both drawings depict scenes inspired by ancient mythology, in which the artist blends classical ideals, sensuality, and academic refinement.

In the first scene, a young couple is depicted at the water’s edge, at the entrance to a cave overgrown with vegetation. The naked woman, tenderly embraced by her companion, appears to be leaning toward the water in a pose full of tenderness and surrender.

The second scene transports the viewer to an interior inspired by Greco-Roman antiquity. A young woman draped in a sheer veil dominates the composition as she leans toward a man seated at her feet. The characters’ gestures, both tender and theatrical, evoke a scene of seduction or a love ritual.
