Firmin Michelet (1875–1951)

) is a renowned French sculptor who trained at the École nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studios of Louis-Ernest Barrias and Jules Coutan.

Noticed very early on for the quality of his modeling and his sense of expression, he regularly exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he won several awards.

.His career was marked by numerous public and private commissions, including memorials, official busts, and portraits.
He also received a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925, an honor that confirmed his place among the most highly regarded French sculptors of his time.
