Léon Blanchot (1868–1947)

was a French sculptor of the Belle Époque, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux and later in Paris.
He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français and distinguished himself in both monumental sculpture and artistic bronzes, in which he displayed a pronounced preference for exquisitely delicate female figures.
