Edouard Degaine 1887-1967
The artist is one of those who participated in the revival of Aubusson tapestry.
He began with classical studies, was influenced by Cubism and then moved on to lacquerware.
He never stopped drawing, however, settling in the Creuse region and joining the Crozant school.
His works can be found in the Guêret and Algiers museums.
