Nanette Kaulla 1812-1872 was one of Munich's most beautiful women.
So much so that her portrait, painted in 1829 by Joseph Karl Stieler, appears in The Gallery of Beauties of Ludwig I of Bavaria. It was the last of ten portraits the painter painted for the king.
She was 17 years old at the time.
