Is a Norman painter specialized in landscapes and views of Normandy and especially Paris.
His first paintings have a pretty and tender impressionist touch. Later on, he developed more vivid and colourful paintings.
Our painting is a work from the beginning of his career as a painter.

His talent developed very quickly. At the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles in Roubaix, he obtained first prizes in all subjects.
He did his military service in Algeria and became a teacher in secondary schools.
Before devoting himself entirely to painting, Charles Malle indulged his passion for the High Period and the Romanesque period.
Passionate about antiques, he started trading in antique furniture. .
He opened a restoration workshop in Roubaix.
Charles Malle also continued to paint, without respite.
For him, painting "is the work of pleasure," "it is a dialogue with the other. He likes to paint Paris, " especially the banks of the Seine, Paris dazzles me. It is both a lantern in the evening and a ray of sunshine at midday. There is everything in Paris, the atmosphere, the people, the monuments.An open-air museum.
