Felix Alarcon
is a Sevillian painter, active between 1840 and 1920.
Son of a painter who taught him the rudiments, he continued in this way at the Fine Arts School of Seville.
In his native city he exhibited his works in the Museum of Natural Sciences and won prizes for his work.
He frequented Paris from 1881 and settled there for a time in 1888,
because he received an order for 273 paintings -reminiscent of Spain- to decorate
to decorate a hotel on rue Lafayette.
